Why we’re so passionate about bioregenerators.

At Advanced Cosmetics at Salt, we believe the future of aesthetics is regenerative. Rather than chasing dramatic changes, more people are choosing an approach that works with the body's natural processes.

What bioregenerators actually are.

Bioregenerators are a category of treatments and ingredients that aim to support the skin’s own repair and renewal processes. The common thread across them: they’re not designed to fill, freeze or reshape. They’re designed to help your skin do what it already knows how to do — better.

Some bioregenerators work by delivering amino acids, hyaluronic acid or nutrient complexes into the deeper layers of the skin. Others, like PRP (platelet-rich plasma), use growth factors drawn from your own blood. Some are device-based — microneedling and medical-grade LED, for example — which prompt the skin to begin a controlled repair response. And some are topical: medical-grade serums that support collagen and elastin at the surface.

Not all bioregenerators are the same, and not all are suitable for every person. Some are available over the counter. Others are prescription-only and are only appropriate after a private consultation with a qualified practitioner.

Why we lean into regenerative first.

As we age, our skin naturally produces less collagen and elastin. These are the two proteins that keep skin firm, smooth, resilient and youthful. As their production declines, skin can lose firmness and elasticity, and fine lines and wrinkles can become more noticeable.

Supporting those natural building blocks, rather than overriding them, is the foundation of modern regenerative aesthetics. It’s slower than a quick fix. It asks you to think in months and years rather than single appointments. But the results tend to be the kind people recognise when they see you — “you look well, something’s different” — without being able to pinpoint what.

“Because healthy skin never goes out of style, and confidence begins with feeling comfortable in your own skin.”

A naturally refreshed appearance.

One of the reasons our clients choose this approach is that the results are subtle and natural. Rather than changing your facial features, the goal is to support healthier skin so you continue to look like yourself — fresher, brighter, more confident. Friends may notice you look well rested or that your skin is glowing, without being able to put a finger on exactly why. That is the beauty of regenerative aesthetics.

Regenerative treatments support the skin’s own building blocks. Results build gradually over weeks and months.

A holistic philosophy.

We believe no single treatment is the answer. Healthy skin is achieved through a personalised combination of professional treatments, medical-grade skincare, lifestyle habits and evidence-informed care. That’s why every regenerative plan at our clinic starts with a conversation. We take the time to understand your skin, your history and your goals, and build a plan that supports your skin now and into the future.

A note from the practice.

This is a general practice article, not personal medical advice. Any treatment referenced here is only appropriate after a private consultation and assessment. Some treatments in this category are prescription-only and we cannot discuss specific products in writing. We can walk you through what might suit you during a complimentary Confidence Consultation. Results vary.
